Mulch ado on I-20

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident this afternoon on the westbound I-20 entrance ramp at Washington Road.

The accident involved a tractor trailer, hauling mulch, which had overturned and spilled its contents onto the ramp.

The driver was transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.

The RCSO estimated that the ramp will be closed for three to four hours and asks motorists to seek an alternate route.
