4th Arrest Made in Acapulco Drive Murder Case in Augusta
A 4th arrest has been made in connection with a deadly shooting at a Richmond County apartment complex in July.
19-year-old Elijah Oliver of Augusta was shot and killed in the parking lot of The Pointe complex on Acapulco Drive on July 20.
Today, investigators with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 20-year-old Marvin Hall. He was taken into custody at a home on Bungalow Road this morning. The Southeastern U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force assisted with the arrest.
Hall was charged with Malice Murder, Felony Murder and Possession of a Firearm or Knife during the Commission of a Crime in connection with Oliver’s death.
4th Arrest Today Followed 3 in July
Today’s arrest came nearly 2 months after 3 teens were taken into custody days after Oliver’s murder.
- 18-year-old Nasceir Damiano Tywan Mitchell
- 19-year-old Devin Anthony Garnett
- 16-year-old Terrell Miller
All 3 were charged with Murder and Possession of a Gun During a Crime.
