A plate of food - most affordable states to dine out.

WASHINGTON, DC – JUNE 21: Chef Nina Curtis holds a plate of stuffed portobello mushrooms and creamy saffron-infused risotto, the main course for the state dinner for Thursday’s visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a media preview in the State Dining Room of the White House on June 21, 2023 in Washington, DC. Because the Prime Minister is vegetarian, U.S. first lady Jill Biden hired Curtis, as she specializes in plant-based foods. Before the state dinner Modi will participate in an Oval Office bilateral meeting and press conference with U.S. President Joe Biden and deliver a speech before a joint session of Congress at the U.S. Capitol Building. How Was It Determined That Georgia Was One Of The Most Affordable States

Restaurant furniture experts Sealing Masters analyzed data to determine which states are the most expensive and the cheapest to eat out in.  They determined they would use the price of a three course meal at a mid-range restaurant.

The cheapest state to eat out in is South Dakota, with an inexpensive meal costing, on average, $13.40.

Oklahoma was second on the list, with Arkansas third.  Georgia made the top ten, with an average price of $16.11 per meal.

The Worst Pizza Toppings EVER

What are the worst pizza toppings ever? Are there things that should never go on pizza? Well of course. Look, pretty much all of us enjoy pizza, and all of us have a favorite topping. Maybe you're a plain cheese person. Or maybe you like a lot of pepperoni. Mushrooms, bacon, sausage, peppers. These are all toppings people enjoy, but we're not talking about those today. We're talking about the worst ones.

Keep That Topping Off My Pizza!

This list came from the folks at Cheapism. They said that YouGov polled 1,000 Americans to find out what their favorite and least favorite pizza toppings were. I can imagine the toppings we mentioned earlier were on the favorites list. But which options fell under the worst pizza toppings category, and will we agree with them?

I'll be honest, I'm not very adventurous when it comes to my pizza. Pretty much, I'm a standard pepperoni and cheese guy. There are times when I'll venture out and do bacon and sausage as well. Are you sensing a pattern here? Yeah, a meat lovers pizza would suit me just fine. I've never been a huge fan of onions, olives or peppers on pizza. I'm not knocking you if you love those toppings, they just aren't really my thing.

What Is Everyone's Favorite Pizza Topping?

Before we get into the toppings people don't like, let's talk about everyones favorite. Should it come as any surprise that according to this poll, pepperoni is the best pizza topping? Yeah, didn't think so. There is nothing better than a well-made pepperoni pizza. I don't think anyone would turn down a slice of pepperoni pizza, and if they did, I might have to question who they are as a person.

Let's see if we agree or not.

Anchovies

100% agree! If you or someone you know likes anchovies on pizza, call the cops immediately! Who ever even thought this was a good idea? Lets take this delicious pizza and cover it with fish! No thanks. I've never even tried it, and if I'm being honest, I probably never will.

Jalapeños

I'll agree with this one too, but it's mostly a personal preference for me. I'm not really a big fan of jalapeños in general, so having them on my pizza really wouldn't be great. Now if you like jalapeños, then my all means, put them on your pizza. But if you do, can you order me a pepperoni pizza on the side please.

Pineapple

100% DISAGREE! Pineapple on pizza is delicious! I know that hot fruit might freak some people out, but a pineapple and ham or pineapple and bacon pizza is absolutely delicious. Look pineapple is a wayyyy better option than anchovies, am I right?

Eggplant

Who does this? Who even puts eggplant on pizza? I've never seen anyone do this, I've never even heard of this being a thing! I can say this though, if I come to your house and you're serving up eggplant pizza, I will be leaving immediately, and probably deleting your number out of my phone.

Broccoli

I'll agree with this one too. Broccoli has it's place, and that place is not on top of my pizza! I've never really heard of people loving broccoli that much anyway, let alone loving it enough to put it on their pizza. To each their own I suppose.

Mushrooms

I'll disagree with this one too. I don't mind mushrooms on my pizza. Now don't get it twisted, I don't want it covered in mushrooms, but if you sprinkle some on a pepperoni pizza, I'm not going to turn it down. Sometimes I'll take the mushrooms off and eat them separately. Does that make me weird? I mean I guess its not really a pizza topping at that point is it?

Olives

I'll agree with this one too. And once again, it's just my preference. I don't really like olives in general, so I'm not going to put them on my pizza. I know some people really love them, and that's okay. I'm not judging you for putting olives on your pizza. Now if I see broccoli, eggplant, artichokes or anchovies on your pizza, rest assured, I'm judging!
