Construction Accident Leads to Augusta Man’s Death
A construction accident last week in Richmond County resulted in a local man’s death.
Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen said 28-year-old Adan Binzha of Augusta was struck by an excavator bucket while working in the 2400 block of Gordon Highway on Friday, August 23.
Construction Accident was Near Apartment Complex
Binzha was taken to Doctor’s Hospital where was pronounced dead at 5:56 pm. that day.
Bowen said an autopsy has been scheduled.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been called to investigate.
No other information about the incident has been released.
