Austin talks about the superstars of the 2024 political hit parade at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago and Bill Clinton’s speech.
Transcript:
Austin:It’s not just the superstars of 2024 on the political hit parade there at the DNC in Chicago. No, they’re digging out the greatest hits from years gone by. Tim Walz last night, certainly a big hit for the crowd in D.C. and excuse me, in Chicago. And, you would have thought that he would be plenty entertainment enough if we had what, Stevie Wonder, performing last night, several other big musical numbers as well at the Democratic National Convention. But they had to pull out the master of them all.
Bill Clinton. Oh my goodness gracious. Bill Clinton spent, about 20 minutes discussing what a terrible, horrible human being Donald Trump is, how he’s constantly doing nothing but complaining about himself, his lot in life, how terrible they treat him, the vast conspiracies against him.
And whoa, whoa, whoa whoa, wait a minute. Bill Clinton is talking about Donald Trump being a conspiracy minded, blathering fool. The same man who introduced to the world the wonderful phrase, “a vast right wing conspiracy.” See, I remember the hits from way back.
That’s right. Bill Clinton, whose huge personal disgrace in office makes Donald Trump look like a Boy Scout in comparison. I mean, it’s one thing to have an affair with an adult sex worker ten years before you hit office. How about an affair with a 22-year-old intern in the Oval Office while you’re president? And that man has the audacity to point a finger at Donald Trump. Unbelievable.
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the hypocrisy of the Democrats in 2024. So just keep in mind these terrible people talking about all these awful politicians and how bad, bad, bad they are in 2024. Donald Trump looks like a Boy Scout when you compare him to the granddaddy of the sickos of them all, Bill Clinton, who was on parade last night to a standing ovation in Chicago, Illinois. And that’s the comment. I’m Austin Rhodes, 95.1 FM News Talk WGAC.
