Aiken Accident Victim Has Died At Augusta Hospital
An Aiken accident victim has died at Wellstar MCG today following an accident in Aiken County earlier this week.
The single vehicle accident was reported Wednesday was Robert M. Bell Parkway.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver was attempting to turn left onto Trolley Line Road when the 1993 Buick sedan was hit by a car headed east on the same road.
The driver of the Buick was taken to Wellstar MCG with critical injuries.
Aiken Accident Victim has been Identified
The Aiken County Coroner’s Office says the driver was identified as 89-year-old David Emory of Aiken. He died at the hospital at 10 am Saturday.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
So far, no other information has been released.
