Austin talks about the left celebrating with renewed hope after a little bounce in the polls.

Transcript:

Austin: The jubilation has set in with the lefty's folks. You gotta be listening to MSNBC. It's almost like they're at a pot party. Oh, my goodness gracious.

They are giddy. They're laughing. They are celebrating like nobody's beeswax. And hey, who can blame them? They have been moribund. They have been depressed. They have been in the depths of despair over the course of the last few months, because they knew they had a losing candidate in a losing cause, and they were going to lose.

Well, now some excitement has come their way and they've got a little bounce in the polls as a result. No doubt about that. But as the dust settles, the issues are going to take over the day.

The utility bills and the gasoline prices are going to continue to pile up. The grocery prices are going to do what they've been doing. And it's going to be relief to no one.

So where does it all end? Well, in 100 days or so, we are going to vote for president of the United States. And I believe that a majority of people who have common sense are going to realize what last four years we lived through, and they're going to want to change the direction of the country.

Now hip, hip hooray! Some folks have, a lady that they think they can identify with because she has the same color of skin they do. Or she's a lady. Or who the hell knows what. But I'm here to tell you that when push comes to shove, the most important color in America today is green. And that should influence most people to do the right thing at the poll, at polls, rather, and vote the right way.

We had a strange situation with Covid. We're not under those conditions anymore, and I believe common sense will prevail. But then again, Americans have been known to take left turns on occasion. A lot of work still to do. The process continues. But this race has just begun.

And that's the comment. I'm Austin Rhodes, 95.1 FM News Talk WGAC.
