Austin: It had been coming out and drabs and dribbles. But as the entire George Stephanopoulos interview with President Biden played out yesterday. Oh, man, it was quite a sight.
His absolute cluelessness is matched only by his defiance. The man has absolutely no grasp on his current state. Or at least I don't believe he does. And for him to think that he's okay and it'll be all right and just give him a little time. Let him let him get on his feet. Absolute bizarre attitude to be having at this point.
One thing is certain though, he is being propped up. He is being encouraged by his wife and his son. Hunter Biden's incredible attitude through all this, again clueless and defiant. And I've been spending the last week completely coincidentally reading The Laptop From Hell, the Miranda Devine book that really got into the detail about exactly what kind of person Hunter Biden is and the depth of his absolute depravity and cluelessness himself. But at least he gets it honest. It's a very dangerous combination.
The very fact that the president is at a point in his life, cognitively speaking, where he is, let's just say vulnerable and that he's got Jill Biden and Hunter Biden behind him pushing now. Man, this could get ugly very quickly.
One thing is certain, though, do not count the Bidens out. When you read back through that book and see all the incredible adversity this family has faced, and the combination of moxie, addiction, and cluelessness has really benefited these people. They've done very, very well. They keep falling up. And Joe Biden fell up directly into the presidency of the United States.
This is a very dangerous time. Do not count this family out, though. It is amazing how resilient they are and how utterly defiant they are when it comes to common sense and the law. Stay tuned. And that's the comment. I'm Austin Rhodes, 95.1 FM News Talk WGAC.
