14 Year Old Suspected Gunman in Olmstead Homes Murder
A 14-year-old is the suspected gunman in Sunday’s deadly shooting in Olmstead Homes in Augusta.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says Carnell Quiller, who just turned 14 on Monday, was arrested and charged with the murder of 22-year-old Jaleen Xavier Sumpter in the 2100 block of C Street Sunday night. One other person was shot in the leg and is undergoing treatment.
Earlier this week, Investigators announced the arrest of 19-year-old Tydasia Hope of Augusta. She was charged with Murder and Aggravated Assault, in connection with the May 5 deadly shooting. It’s believed though that Quiller was the alleged shooter.
A statement from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing and no further information is available.
Wanted in Homicide on Wednesday in Augusta
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 39-year-old Ryon Mcconey Lewis in connection with the death Wednesday of 37-year-old Gregory Dunn of Thomas Lane in Augusta.
Dunn was shot at the intersection of Carp Drive and Tudor Drive early Wednesday morning.
