The Augusta Mall shooting Sunday left two women are wanted for questioning.

A man was shot at Dillard's, according to witnesses just after 2 pm. The Richmond County Sheriff's Office had multiple units respond to the scene. They said the victim had already been taken to an area hospital for treatment by private vehicle when they arrived. They also said the suspect or suspects had already fled from the area.

It's still not known what prompted the shooting.

The mall closed for the day at 2:45 pm. It is scheduled to resume normal hours today.

Today, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office says two women are wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting.
