Augusta Woman Missing for Weeks According to Concerned Family
An Augusta woman missing for weeks has her family concerned about her safety.
The Augusta woman missing is 34-year-old Whitney Keira Rivers who was last seen April 5 in the 1600 block of Gordon Highway in the Southgate Plaza parking lot, according to a news release from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Rivers’ sister, she is reportedly homeless and sleeps in the Southgate parking lot. She said Rivers normally goes to her job at Burger King in the 1600 block of Gordon Highway every morning for breakfast, and was last seen there on April 5 at 9 am.
Rivers does not have a cell phone, according to a police report.

Whitney Keira Rivers is known to frequent the areas of Gordon Highway, Deans Bridge Road, Milledgeville Road, Old Savannah Road and Dogwood Terrace.

Justasia Carter Still Missing in Richmond County:
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office continues to look for 19-year-old Justasia Carter who was last seen in Augusta on April 6.
Carter was last seen in the 700 block of Broad Street and could possibly have been traveling to Atlanta or New York City, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
