Augusta Man Murdered Late Sunday Night
An Augusta man was murdered late Sunday night in the 300 block of Williamsburg Drive.
Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen says the Augusta man murdered has been identified as 24-year-old Gregory Campbell of the 300 block of Barrow Drive. He was shot at least one time near his home.
Campbell was transported to Wellstar MCG where he was pronounced dead at 11:34 pm.
Bowen said an autopsy has been scheduled.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office hasn’t released any information about the shooting yet.
No other details are available.
