Aiken has been on a roll with winners lately.
The latest is a $50,000 winner who purchased the winning ticket at Kroger on Whiskey Road. The winner has 180 days to claim the prize.
South Carolina Education Lottery officials say the ticket was one number shy of winning the Powerball grand prize Saturday night, which would have been just under $1 billion.
The winning numbers in Saturday's drawing were 12, 13, 33, 50, 52 and Powerball: 23.
When the ticket is claimed, Kroger will get a commission from the lottery for selling it.
The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing is an estimated $1.09 billion.
Odds of winning the Powerball grand prize are 1-in-293 million.
Aiken Has Been on a Roll With Winners!
Since the beginning of the year, two $2 million winners bought tickets at Circle K stores in Aiken.
In early January, the first "$20 Millionaire's Club" scratch-off ticket was purchased at Circle K at 1014 E. Pine Log Road. Then the second $2 million winner purchased the ticket at Circle K at 2948 Whiskey Road, about four miles from the first winning location.
Both Circle K stores received a commission of $20,000 for selling the tickets that were claimed.
South Carolina Education Lottery officials says the odds of winning are 1-in-1,260,000.
Lottery winners in some states can choose to remain anonymous, such as in South Carolina. Other states on that list include Georgia, Arizona, Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, New Jersey, North Dakota, Ohio, Texas and Virginia.

Two weeks before that, a ticket purchased at Publix on Washington Road in Evans was also worth $2 million.
