Augusta Baby Exposed to Meth, Mom and Grandma Charged
Augusta baby exposed to methamphetamine Monday, has landed the mother and grandmother in jail.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called Monday to Children’s Hospital of Georgia after the 1-year-old child arrived for treatment.
The baby was admitted and is currently in stable condition.
An investigation began Monday and authorities said today they arrested the child’s mother, 29-year-old Deborah Danielle Wright and the grandmother, 51-year-old Laura Michelle Wright.

Authorities say the investigation is continuing and no other information is available at this time.
