Lots of beer festivals are on the way, because summer is a great time for beer. The U.S. has a lot of fantastic beer festivals, and some of them are right here in Georgia. If you're planning to hit the beer festival circuit this year, there's one Georgia beer festival that has been ranked one of the best in the States. So, get this one on your itinerary.

The news is from USA Today's 10Best readers' poll, which recently asked for people to vote for their favorite beer festivals. Readers were asked to vote on a range of beer festivals throughout America, and the poll named the top 10. The initial list of beer festivals was put together from a panel of beer experts, who nominated their top picks. But, the poll itself was purely based on readers' votes, so it's all about the people. "Beer festivals not only offer attendees the chance to sample numerous brews (sometimes even rare and one-off pours)," USA Today states, "but also allow beer fans to get to know their favorite brew masters, sample paired foods, and learn all about beer and brewing."

The No. 1 best beer festival in America, according to the poll, is Barrel & Flow Fest in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The festival features around 3,000 craft beer industry professionals and enthusiasts, so it's a massive event in Pennsylvania. The event also celebrates Black-owned breweries. So, what about Georgia? Suwanee Beer Fest in Suwanee. "This St. Patrick’s Day party in Georgia doubles as one of the state’s biggest and best craft beer festivals," the publication states. "Suwanee Beer Fest at Town Center Park features more than 400 craft beers from across the U.S., unlimited tastings, live music, games, food trucks, and a home brew contest." It's pretty wild and cool, so it's great to see this Georgia event get national attention.

Spring break always arrives at just the right time. It's when the holiday cheer has totally worn off, and it's also right when spring is around the corner but it's not quite here yet. But, why not travel to a town that you've never been to that's within road trip distance? Of course, if you live in a cold climate, you might want to travel to a hot spot. The good news is that a lot of warm spring break destinations have great rates, because tourist is simply their business. So, if you go to a popular spring break spot, chances are they'll have some good deals and be able to cut you a good deal due to just how many people who travel there each year.
