Who’s ready for naked bowling? Yes, you read that right. Naked bowling is actually a thing. Are You A “Big” Bowler? I’m not a “big” bowler.  I’ve done it.  As…

Who's ready for naked bowling? Yes, you read that right. Naked bowling is actually a thing.

Are You A "Big" Bowler?

I’m not a “big” bowler.  I’ve done it.  As a matter of fact, in elementary school, there were days we went “duckpin” bowling.  Smaller balls, smaller pins.

But as far as heading to a bowling alley and playing, not much.  And I’m pretty sure that I’m not going to go bowling nude.

Oh, you haven’t heard?  The Pittsburgh Area Naturalists group has rented a bowling alley for their “Balls Out Bowling” night.  In case you’re interested, it’s April 28th.

Anyone that wants to can participate.  They will have to purchase a $25 ticket in advance.

Rules & Regulations For Naked Bowling

The group says “Balls Out Bowling is the ultimate bowling experience for anyone who loves to have fun and show off their skills in the buff.”

Nudity will be required (with the exception that women can wear bottoms).  They would also like you to bring a towel and a bag for your belongings.

It’s open to bowling fans of all skill levels who are over the age of 18.

Can you see yourself naked, wearing rented shoes?

On a serious note, the group says that safety and privacy are paramount during the event, with no photography or video recording allowed.

They also say that sexual activity will not be permitted.  Nudity does not equal consent and will not be taken lightly.  Violators will be asked to leave, after they get dressed.

How Adventurous Are You?

Now, naked bowling might be an extreme, (might?), but are there activities or adventures that you would like to challenge yourself by partaking in?  Why haven’t you?  Are you concerned for your safety?  Is it a financial issue?  You can’t find someone to wants to do it with you?  What’s holding you back?  I can think of a few things holding me back from participating in “Balls Out Bowling”, but that doesn’t mean I’m not open to trying  something for the first time.
