Looks Like A Masters Winner Will Miss His Final Masters
It looks like a Masters winner will miss his final Masters. Bernhard Langer announced this morning that he tore his Achilles Tendon while working out. He will have surgery to repair the injury, but it will cause him to miss playing competitive golf as he recovers.
The two-time Masters winner announced late last year that the 2024 Masters would be his last as a competitor.
Langer’s statement went on to say that he appreciates everyone’s support at this time and that he looks forward to seeing the fans and his fellow competitors back on the course soon.
