Weather Cancels Columbia County Fair Tonight

The Columbia County Fair has been cancelled tonight due to the weather.

A statement from fair organizers, The Merchants Association of Columbia County, says, "The Columbia County Fall Fair will be closed today, Friday, November 10, due to weather.  Please visit our Facebook Page or our website at www.columbiacountyfair.net for information on the rest of the weekend, to be announced each morning."

The 10-day run of the Columbia County Fall Fair began November 2 at the Columbia County Fairgrounds off Columbia Road in Grovetown.  It comes to a close this Sunday, November 12.

Weekend Scheduled Gate Times

Weather permitting:

Saturday:  12 noon until 11 pm

Sunday:  1 pm until 10 pm

Weekend Nightly Specials, weather permitting

Saturday:  Free rides from noon to 1 pm.  $5 admission for Active Duty and Retired Military with ID Card-one ticket per ID.  Sold at $5 only when purchased at the gate.  Not available for online purchase.

Both Saturday and Sunday:  unlimited rides for $30

Gate Admission:  $10 every day.  Children 5 and under admitted free
