Large Fentanyl and Marijuana Bust in Grovetown

A Grovetown man was taken into custody this morning after authorities seized about 10 pounds of marijuana and several thousand suspected Fentanyl pills.

The Grovetown Police Department arrested 30-year-old Jabari Bostick of the 1000 block of Outlook Drive following an investigation that included the Department of Community Supervision.

Previous Drug Charges

Bostick has been on probation for a number of previous charges, including Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, and Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer.

According to a news release from the Grovetown Police Department, "Officers also located narcotics as well as packaging and scales consistent with distribution in Mr. Bostick's vehicle."

Bostick was taken into custody and charged with Trafficking of Fentanyl and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute.  He is being held in the Columbia County Detention Center.  The investigation is continuing and more charges may be forthcoming, according to officials.
