The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man they say is homeless in connection with a weekend assault.

The incident was reported Sunday in the 2100 block of Stevens Road.  No details have been given.

Thirty-nine-year-old Daniel Ortalaza is 6'0" and weighs 185 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes.  He is wanted for Aggravated Assault.

Investigators say there are active warrants on file for Ortalaza in connection with the Aggravated Assault.

Ortalaza is homeless, but it known to frequent the area near Stevens Road.  Authorities say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
