Man Wanted for Stealing Medication at Bus Station

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office needs help identifying a man who is seen on video surveillance taking a bag of prescription medication from a vehicle parked at the Augusta Transit Bus

Station at 1546 Broad Street.

A woman called the Sheriff's Office on Saturday, October 21, and reported that someone had entered her unsecured vehicle at the bus station and took a green Crown Royal Apple cloth bag containing some prescription medication.  The medications included Farxiga, Amoxicillin, Glimepiride, Concerta, and Clonidine.

Investigators looked at video surveillance footage and saw a black male, believed to be 50 to 70 years old, walk past the 2019 Nissan Versa in the parking lot.  The suspect is seen reaching into a partially opened window and taking the green bag.   A deputy dusted for latent prints, but wasn't able to find any.

The suspect has a shaved head and a goatee.  He was wearing a tan jacket with a dark brown collar, a light-colored button-down shirt, tan pants and brown shoes.
