Two people were killed late Friday night in a fiery two-vehicle crash in the 5200 block of Mike Padgett Highway.

Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen said today the second driver involved in the crash has been identified.  Bowen said 34-year-old Dillon James Rickerson of Waynesboro was the second driver involved in the fatal accident.  Rickerson's vehicle burst into flames after the head-on collision.  His name was being withheld pending autopsy results and positive identification.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office said Rickerson was headed north on Mike Padgett Highway when his vehicle swerved into the southbound lane, hitting a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Richard Faber of Burke County.  Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene at 10:25 p.m.  Autopsies were performed on both accident victims.
