Woman Shot in Augusta Sunday Afternoon
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a weekend shooting that left an Augusta woman in the hospital.
Deputies were called to the 2300 block of Richwood Drive in Augusta Sunday at 12:51 pm. That’s where they found a female victim who had been shot at least one time. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Sgt. John Perry said the investigation is ongoing and no further information is available.
