When you think of a library you most likely think of tons of books and a few computers, but the Augusta Richmond County Public Library System has added something different and new! They are now housing PLAY Touch Tables at two of the branches.

PLAY Touch Tables are a product by After-mouse.com. They are interactive game touch tables designed for hotels, restaurants, cruise ships, libraries, and more.

The tables can be 32” or larger. There are 21 games on the system so that all ages have something to look forward to. They also have games that are multi-player.

There are games like Solitaire, Tic Tac Toe, and Sudoku.

Technology is huge right now and is constantly changing and it is great to see libraries not only still catering to those who love books, but also keeping up with the times we are in. This also allows for more learning resources to be implemented at libraries.

The tables in the Augusta libraries are programmed with fun and educational games for all.

Check these tables out at the Augusta Public Library and Wallace Branch Library locations!
