Austin talks about importance of voting in the next election.

Austin Rhodes: [00:00:01] Very interesting conversations concerning your political philosophy and how important it is when it comes to voting in the next election. I believe this has really been all the rage on Clay and Buck the last couple of days.
Bottom line, there’s an argument out there that there are people that are so pro-Trump that unless the nominee is Trump himself, they’re not supporting anything having to do with the Republican Party in the upcoming election cycle. The Democrats love this stuff, by the way. Then you’ve got the anti-Trump folks that just are so disgusted by Trump at every move that, again, if Trump is the nominee, they’re staying away from the Republican Party in general.
Now, again, the Democrats are delighted in all this. I can’t tell you how ridiculously politically immature it is to take such a stand. You have to remember politics. It’s a team sport. And if you don’t have senators and congressmen representing your cause, who the president is really doesn’t make much difference. You need all three parties working, all three individual institutions working on your behalf to get real change made.
Again, if it’s one of these situations where you’re taking your ball and you’re going home, if you don’t get your specific way on a specific candidate, well, all will be lost and your political opponents will win every single time. That’s one of the reasons the Democrats love to push division where Trump is concerned, because they know there are a lot of folks on the conservative side that are just washing their hands of the entire process out of pure frustration. Remember, politics is a team sport. You win as a team, you lose as a team. And losing sucks every time. And that’s the comment, I’m Austin Rhodes, AM 580/95.1 FM News Talk WGAC. [00:00:01][0.0]
