Two Killed in School Bus and Car Crash in Aiken

An early morning two-vehicle wreck in Columbia County left one Greenbrier High School student seriously injured.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office says the wreck was reported at 6:35 am at Riverwood Parkway and General Wood Parkway.  The 16-year-old driver of a 2012 Toyota Prius turned into the path of a 2012 Toyota Highlander.  The driver of the Highlander and a front seat passenger received minor injuries.  The driver's sister, 15-year-old Allison Lillie, was unrestrained in the back seat and received facial and head injuries.  She is reported to be in serious condition in the intensive care unit at Augusta University Medical Center, but health officials have indicated her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

The driver of the Prius was cited for Failure to Yield while Turning Left.
