VOLKONSKIY VALERIY/Getty ImagesAugusta Animal Services will be hosting its open house this Sunday, August 13, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. It will be hosted at the department's animal shelter, 4164 Mack Lane.
As part of the event, Augusta Animal Services will provide tours of the shelter. There will also be adoption specials, free microchipping for the first 100 pets, and complimentary nail trims. In addition, color sheets and activity books for children and giveaways.

“Cody” Blaine Jackson is one half of the Kicks Wake Up Krew on Kicks 99, and also serves as the Digital Program Director for Beasley Media Group in Augusta.
