Arcade In Evans Coming Soon
There will be a new arcade in Evans soon! Retro City Arcade is coming to 4446 Washington Road in Evans across from Walmart.
Based on the Retro City Arcade Evans website, their complete space isn’t ready yet. But they do want guest to come and enjoy the games they do have. Once the space is complete, they’ll have over 5,000 square feet of fun.
A comment on this post, someone asked about an ETA for official opening. They responded yesterday (August 6) and said they’re hoping to get final approval from the county within the next 3-4 weeks.
The owners, Robert and Kathleen Owens, have had the dream of opening an arcade for 5 years. They weren’t able to fulfill their dream while living in Virginia, but after retiring and moving to Evans, they are excited to make their dream a reality! They have a passion for retro gaming and are excited to bring this to the CSRA!
You’ll pay one fee to enter, and all the games are set to free play. So, you can stay for an hour, or stay all day. They’ll have new games and retro games along with Skeeball, Foosball, and more!
You can check out their website for list of their pinball and video games. They will offer private parties once they are open in their full space. You’ll have 3 hours for the part, with pizza and drinks provided as part of the package.
