North Augusta Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident
A motorcycle accident claimed the life of a North Augusta man early Sunday morning. The North Augusta Department of Public Safety was called at 2 am to Old Edgefield Road near Knox Avenue.
Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables says 24-year-old Danielson Gomez lost control of the motorcycle while rounding a curve and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force injuries.
The Coroner’s Office and the North Augusta Department of Public Safety are investigating the crash. Toxicology analysis is pending.
