A suspected kidnapping is under investigation in Aiken.  Public Safety officials say a woman was reportedly forced into a white SUV by a black female and a male at Kalmia Plaza shopping center in Aiken this afternoon.

A statement from the department says, "It was reported that an adult female was forced from the parking lot into a white SUV.  Investigators have reviewed surveillance footage and determined the female victim was forced to the vehicle by a black female and unknown race male."

Investigators say the SUV is a white Nissan Xterra.  They say it appears this was not a random victim.
