Macaroni and cheese is simply one of the most classic dishes you’ll find. Mac and cheese is especially helpful when you’re a vegetarian, like I am, and eating out at a restaurant. If I’m having lunch or dinner at a steak house or somewhere that doesn’t specialize in vegetarian options, it’s always a choice that just makes sense. But, even if you aren’t a vegetarian, macaroni and cheese can be a great lunch or dinner dish. Really, who doesn’t love macaroni and cheese? It brings to mind lots of great childhood memories. Now, one Georgia mac and cheese spot is among the best in America.

LoveFood.com has released their list of the best macaroni and cheese in America. They highlight one top spot in each state. “Cheesy, creamy, and all-round scrumptious, mac ‘n’ cheese is the ultimate comfort food,” they state in the article. Boy, is that true. They add that, “it can be a decadent side or a meal in its own right, loaded with truffle, lobster tail, or barbecued meats.

Georgia Mac and Cheese Among the Best in America:

In Georgia, for the best mac and cheese, they picked Wisteria Restaurant in Atlanta. “For a fine dining take on mac ‘n’ cheese, head to glamorous Wisteria in Atlanta,” they say. “You’ll get a generous portion featuring collard greens for a pop of color and a crisp cheese crust.” Sounds great to me. Also, last year, the outlet Eat This, Not That! put together a study to determine the best mac and cheese in America. “Everyone loves a good plate of macaroni and cheese, but finding the perfect balance between pasta and cheese sauce can prove challenging,” they said.
