Lumpkin Road Shooting Victim Identified
Man and Woman Dead in Columbia County from Murder-Suicide
Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen has released the identity of the person shot and killed on Lumpkin Road on Saturday.
Deputies were called to the 2100 block of Lumpkin Road where they found 28-year-old Walter Smith of Lumpkin Road with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 6 pm. An autopsy has been scheduled.
Richmond County investigators have not released any information about the shooting yet or possible suspects.
