The start of the new school year is quickly approaching and many positions still need to be filled in the Richmond County School System.

They're hosting a walk-in job fair next Wednesday, July 12, at the Board of Education Office at 864 Broad Street from 9 am until 12 pm.

Recruiters and hiring managers will be on-site to conduct interviews and discuss available positions.

"We are looking for some talented and dedicated individuals to join our high-performing workforce to support the educational offerings and resources required to educate more than 30,000 students.  Our employees are eligible for excellent benefits, and we offer professional development and a collaborative work environment," says Dr. Cecil Clark, Richmond County School System Chief Human Resources Officer.

To view the complete listing of openings, visit the school system's website at rcboe.info/Work4RCSS.

The new school year for Richmond County elementary students begins August 3.  Students in K-8, middle and high schools begin August 7.
