Rain is only 6 months old. She and 7 other cats and kittens were surrendered to the Aiken Animal Shelter when her family became homeless.
She was caked with dirt and fleas but her sweet spirit remained.
Rain is a little shy at first, understandably, but she longs for pets and when she does get comfortable her load purr goes into overdrive.
Rain is spayed and up to date on her vaccines.
This is the worst "kitten season" to date with shelters and rescues all over capacity.
