A man who was in a motorized wheelchair was hit by a vehicle in south Augusta over the weekend.
Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen says 63-year-old John Cummings of Dover Street was hit Saturday on Deans Bridge Road. He was transported to Augusta University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 6:46 p.m. that evening.
No other information about the incident has been released yet.
