Active Shooter Exercise to be Held Wednesday at SRS
Getty ImagesThe Savannah River Site's Emergency Response Organization will be conducting an Active Shooter exercise Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The exercise will be held in SRS's A Area, behind the SRS Badge Office on Road 1.
Officials say simulated firearms will be used during the exercise and emergency vehicles may be seen leaving the Site as part of the exercise. In the event of an actual emergency, the exercise will be suspended and employees and the media will be notified.
