Man Shot and Killed Today in Louisville
Few details are available, but a man was shot and killed in Louisville early this morning.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of a shooting at 2:45 this morning in the 1100 block of Wren Lane just outside Louisville. When they arrived they found 43-year-old Roosevelt Alexander Jr. of Louisville outside a home there with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Alexander’s body is being sent to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
In the meantime, anyone with information that could help with the investigation is asked to call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 478-625-4014 or the GBI office at 706-595-2575. All calls may remain confidential.
