About two months ago, the Aiken Brewing Company decided to close for good. Now a new restaurant is in the process of making its former location home. The owners of Neon Fig, Cecelia Roust, and Chef Marvin Sterling III, are preparing to open their next restaurant in Aiken. Electric Eats is the name of the future business.

Since the “brewpub” has closed, that area has been a little quiet but the owners are hoping to bring some noise back into the space.

According to the owners, they will be doing some renovations to the location to “freshen” it up but still want to maintain the historic feel.

The menu will feature classic pub and comfort food complemented by beer, wine, and cocktails.

Electric Eats is scheduled to make its debut by the end of the summer.
