Alex Murdaugh Named in a New 22-Count Indictment Today

Disgraced attorney Alex Murdaugh was sentenced this morning to two consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole for the murders of his wife, Maggie and 22-year-old son, Paul.

A jury took less than three hours Thursday to find Murdaugh guilty on all counts.

During the sentencing phase of the trial this morning, Murdaugh maintained his innocence.  He told Judge Clifton Newman, "I am innocent.  I would never hurt my wife.  I would never hurt my son."
