SC National Guard Soldier from Aiken Killed in Accident in Kuwait

Weeks after a crash in Burke County that claimed the life of a pregnant woman, her mother-in-law has been charged in connection with the deadly wreck.

The Burke County Sheriff's Office says 24-year-old Annibel Hall, who was 19 weeks pregnant, died in the single vehicle accident January 18 in the 7300 block of Story Mill Road between Corley Road and Henderson Road just south of Hephzibah.   A car driven by Hall's mother-in-law, 47-year-old Tonya Hall, crossed the center line, left the road and overturned, ejecting both women.  Two of Annibel Hall's children were in the backseat properly restrained and were not hurt.

Following an investigation, Tonya Hall was charged today with Homicide by Vehicle in the second degree, Feticide by Vehicle in the second degree, and driving too fast for conditions.
