Getty ImagesAuthorities are investigating a fatal house fire overnight in Aiken. Public Safety officials say firefighters were called to 1338 Aldrich Street at 12.25 this morning. Once inside, firefighters found one person dead and another severely injured. The coroner's office is withholding the name of the person who died in the fire until family has been notified. The identity of the person who was injured is also being withheld at this time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
