Braves Broadcaster Chip Caray Likely Leaving for St. Louis

Braves play by play announcer Chip Caray is likely leaving Atlanta and will join the St. Louis Cardinals broadcasting team. According to mlb.com, Caray will be replacing Dan McLaughlin, the Cardinals voice for the last 24 years.
The Carey name is known in the Midwest. Chip’s father Skip worked for KMOX in St. Louis before moving to Atlanta. His grandfather, Harry Caray began his career in St. Louis, eventually finishing his career as the play by play announcer with the Chicago Cubs.
