It’s “Hunker Down” Day In Georgia

“Hunker Down!” The late Larry Munson made the phrase famous. Most people recall hearing the phrase in the 1982 game at Auburn when Munson implored the Dawgs to “Hunker it down” one more time” to stop the Tigers late in the game that settled the SEC championship and Sugar Bowl invitation.

While tailgating isn’t being allowed at the stadium and Uga isn’t traveling, Governor Brian Kemp is declaring today Hunker Down Day in Georgia.
