Two Pedestrian Fatalities in Richmond County Friday Night
Teen Shot and Killed at Home In Wrens
Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen says two pedestrian deaths are under investigation. Thirty-five-year-old April Nicole Harrod of the 3100 block of Mike Padgett Highway was hit by a vehicle near her home Friday night. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:28 p.m.
About 30 minutes later, authorities were called to the report of another pedestrian fatality. Sixty-year-old Tommy West Jr. of the 3000 block of Jessie Way was hit by a vehicle on Peach Orchard Road at Byrd Road. He was also pronounced dead at the scene.
Bowen says no other information is being released at this time.
