A statement from the McDuffie County School System says the community celebration for the State Champion Thomson Bulldogs has been postponed, due to the weather.
"Oh, the weather outside will be frightful, so another date to celebrate will be delightful! Due to a forecast of rain and nearly freezing temperatures (as well as a few scheduling conflicts), the snow night and community celebration for the State Champion Thomson Bulldogs has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 12, starting at 5 p.m. at the Thomson Depot. Wear black and gold and join us, the football team, the Bulldog Brigade, the cheerleaders and countless supporters and fans to celebrate the Dogs and get your photo with the state championship trophy!"
