Local Man Wanted for Aggravated Assault Now in Custody
A man who was wanted in a local aggravated assault case in August is now in custody.
The Richmond County Sheriff's Office says 37-year-old Dejuan Marco White was wanted in connection with the incident August 13 at the East Augusta Commons apartment complex in the 400 block of East Boundary.
White is accused of trying to run over his girlfriend with his car after she reportedly told him she no longer wanted to be in a relationship with him. Investigators say White hit two vehicles in the parking lot in the process.
He was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and two counts of Criminal Damage to Property.
