A deadly shooting was reported late last night in Richmond County. Coroner Mark Bowen says 34-year-old Joseph Fortson of the 1900 block of Sanford Court in Augusta was shot at least one time in the 1800 block of Fayetteville Drive. He was pronounced dead at 1:10 a.m. today. An autopsy will be performed at the GBI Crime Lab. So far, no other information has been released yet.
