What Georgia Town Made The List Of Most Festive For Christmas In America?

I came home to my wife watching a Christmas Movie earlier this week. It was one of the Lifetime Channel holiday movies, A Taste of Christmas. The towns are always fully decorated, it almost always snows, and someone is usually going to fall in love.

After realizing that I wasn’t going to win this battle of “What are we watching tonight?”, I discovered a couple of things. Apparently, the movie she was watching was filmed in and around Helen, Georgia. We’ve been there a few times, but only in the summer and fall.

That let me down a rabbit hole on my phone searching more about Helen during the holidays. Not only is Helen a summer hot spot, but the town has made the “These Are the Most Festive Christmas Towns in America” according to housebeautiful.com

Helen is No. 15 on the list and is the only town from Georgia that made the list. North Carolina had one in the Top 10. Asheville is listed at No. 8.

By the way, I’m all for Christmas cheer, decorating the house, and Christmas movies. But after Thanksgiving please.
