We are just days away from the November 8th General Election and today is the last day you can vote early in Georgia.  Turnout for the three weeks of early voting in the state has been shattering records and election officials expect turnout to be high today across the state.  In fact, it's estimated early voting turnout will exceed 2.5 million by the time early voting locations close today.

Before voting began this morning, nearly 2.3 million registered voters had already cast a ballot either in-person at polling locations or by absentee ballot.  State election officials say today is expected to be the biggest advance voting day with an estimated 200,000 expected to cast a ballot.  Ballot drop boxes, located inside each early voting location, will close when early voting ends today.

There will be no early voting Saturday, Sunday or Monday.  Polls will be open at more than 2,500 precincts across the state Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Voters can find sample ballot and voting locations on the state's My Voter Page at mvp.sos.ga.gov.

In South Carolina, early voting continues through Saturday.  Voting hours are 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.   Voting locations can be found at scVOTES.gov.  The website also provides sample ballots, as well as General Election FAQs and statistics.
