The Kroc Center of Augusta was robbed this morning, according to Major Jonathan Raymer, Area Commander and Chief Kroc Officer.

Two golf carts and a new generator were taken after unidentified suspects broke into the Kroc Center early this morning at 1833 Broad Street.

"It's unfortunate that we were robbed, but even worse because of the timing.  Our annual Fall Festival is this Saturday.  We need our golf carts for this and just purchased the generator to power our bounce houses for the event."

Anyone with information about the stolen items is asked to contact the Richmond County Sheriff's Office at (706) 821-1080.

The Salvation Army of Augusta operates the Kroc Center in the heart of the Harrisburg Community, featuring an indoor water park, a chapel, theater, banquet hall, conference room and classrooms.
